Thanks Again For Visiting Our Site. Do Not Forget To Download Our Free Book Sample

In order to make your stay at our Web site more enjoyable, we need to make a few points about our book and its availability for purchase:

1) Currently because of technical issues with collecting taxes worldwide for our book’s purchase, we only can accept purchase requests within the United States of America. However, this Web site does not actively verify the purchaser’s location. We work on the honor system.

2) We wrote our text primarily for an American-based audience. The formats of the math (or is it maths???) are the ones used in American schools.

3) In order for you to make the best purchase decision, we offer a free sample download of our book. We want you to “try before you buy.”

Once again, thank you for visiting our official Web site. Oh…

Please do not forget to download a free sample (free sample hyperlinked) of our Help! – It’s Math(s) book. The sample contains the first 11 chapters of the book and 61 pages of content.

Purposes of the Help! - It's Math(s) Book

The reasons why we wrote the Help! – It’s Math(s) book are simple:

1) To Help People Who Want to Improve Their Arithmetic Skills – Our book primarily covers topics related to integer arithmetic. We discuss addition, subtraction, multiplication, exponentiation (bases and exponents), and division operations performed on integers.

2) To Provide Alternative Formats and Methods for Arithmetic – We believe a large part of the difficulty people have with arithmetic is due to its formats (the way it is written) and the methods used to perform arithmetic. Our book provides different formats and some different and simpler methods.

3) To Provide Different Interpretations of Arithmetic Operations – Although our book instructs the reader on how to perform arithmetic as taught in American schools, we also provide different interpretations of how arithmetic operations behave. Our different interpretations are based upon the idea that the five arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, exponentiation (bases and exponents), and division are related and similar to each other. We strongly believe viewing the arithmetic operations as closely related along with the use of our alternative formats and methods improve the understanding and ease of performing arithmetic.

4) To Provide a Confidence Boost to Our Readers – Almost any task is easier to perform when a person is confident. This also applies to performing arithmetic. We believe that another obstacle to better achievement in arithmetic is the lack of confidence some people have. In our book, we have the opinion that most people are better at arithmetic than they currently think. We strongly believe that people’s lack of confidence mostly is due to inadequate school teaching methods and ideas.

A few, quick highlights of our book purchase include:

1) Full Coverage of Integer Arithmetic – The main text consists of approximately 350 pages of instruction. The text discusses how the arithmetic operations are presented and performed in American schools. This is helpful for learners presently in school. It also presents alternative written formats and different and simpler methods for performing arithmetic. This is useful for people who want to “brush up” or improve their skills.

2) A Full-Sized Addendum – The main text contains a ten section addendum at the book’s end. This part of the book includes additional information to assist and boost the reader’s understanding.

3) Included Companion Notes Book – Beside the Main Help! – It’s Math(s) book, we also include a smaller companion book. This book contains helpful comments about content in the main book to help improve understanding. This book also includes additional (emphasized) information that is not included (emphasized) in the main text. The companion book contains about 140 pages of commentary and instruction.

4) Easily Readable and Separable Content – Each book has content that can be read independent of other content. If a reader only needs help with multiplication, then this information can be read and understood without reading the entire book. Each book contains a moderate number of pages of instruction, but the content is written so that it is understandable in isolation. Read what you need and you can ignore the rest.

5) Informal Writing Style – Both the main book and its companion book are written in a conversational format. We believe this style of writing makes the books’ concepts less intimidating and ultimately easier to understand. Unfortunately, they are math(s) books, so we cannot totally avoid being…mathy (emphasized) (is that a real word???). But, the technical talk is made as simple as possible and it is kept to a minimum.
